Introduction
Set in delightful North Norfolk countryside, our stylish new restaurant features a fashionable modern interior complete with a sumptuous lounge and spectacular bar. The relaxed and welcoming atmosphere helps you to unwind as you choose from an inspired 'bistro-gastro' menu of contemporary English and international cuisine, served by enthusiastic, sociable staff. As you'd expect, olive trees are a key visual element, with around 50 on display throughout the restaurant and grounds, plus many exotic plants.
The light and airy interior opens onto a spacious, Mediterranean-style patio terrace surrounded by box hedges. The terrace is perfect for alfresco drinks or meals, with extensive timber decking plus 1,000 square metres of gorgeous Indian sandstone paving. Its focal point is a timber bridge over a beautiful Japanese Koi carp water feature. Beyond is the summer bar area and open-air swimming pool ' the finishing touch that makes the Olive Tree a wonderful venue for events and special occasions.
Please note that we are closed on Sunday evenings, Monday all day and Tuesday lunchtimes.
The Olive Tree Restaurant is part of a £5 million development programme and no expense has been spared to make it a memorable destination for the local region and beyond. The open-fronted kitchen is an exciting feature, enabling diners to enjoy the frenetic activity as the Head Chef, Aiden Halsey and his team prepare and cook the wide variety of food on offer.
Of course, the food is the most important element, but a committed restaurant team is also vital for a great dining experience and that starts with the Head Chef. In the restaurant, Manager Mark Bilson ensures that the front of house team provide skilled, attentive and friendly service at all times.
