Briar House Barns is an exclusive venue hosting wedding receptions, blessings, humanist and religious ceremonies. The venue is also available for all other special events such as wedding anniversaries and corporate parties. This is the perfect wedding venue in East Sussex, Kent or Surrey (on the borders).

#BriarHouseBarns The barn and grounds provides a flexible venue in an exquisitely beautiful setting. Group sizes of 30 to 150 or 200 to 1000 guests are all easily accommodated. The barn allows for bespoke layout to suit each event perfectly. Around 150 guests may be seated for dining in the Great Barn based on our standard floor plan but this can be expanded to seat up to 1000 guests dining if required. So we can do Asian weddings with large numbers as well.

What do you get?
Briar House Barns offers The Great Barn, an outdoor terrace and beautiful grounds. Round and Square/Oblong Tables and over 1000 Chairs for the barn are provided as required in gold, silver or mahogany, and there is a vast choice of coloured seat pads from gold, red, black, electric blue, light blue, bottle green etc.
Black garden furniture with large black parasoles are on the terrace and available for your use. Around 200 Silver-aluminium chairs are available for the grounds and lawns.
Chandeliers hang from the ceilings and variable choice colour lights softly illuminate the ivory draped walls whilst a row of spotlights shine through the gold voile beneath a black ceiling giving a stunning effect throughout. One wall is constructed of big glass windows that look out onto the terrace and grounds.

Additional rooms are available to hire for pre-ceremony preparation or for storage.
Brides can fix bunting inside and outside the barn to their liking. We provide twinklies outside and the terrace is also lit by a golden glow from high level lighting. The grounds are lit from various positions to give safe arrival and departure.

We can provide a list of suppliers, including our preferred caterers who we know do an excellent job. Live music and DJ's are permitted in the barn.
