Introduction
Biddy's Tea Room is a old English inspired tea room serving handmade cakes, scones and sandwiches. We specialise in afternoon tea which you can enjoy on beautiful antique china in our quirky little tea house.
We are situated in historic Norwich, down the eclectic Norwich Lanes. They are a great place to enjoy lot's of quirky shopping. So why not break your time up with Afternoon Tea or a piece of cake at our Tea Room. If you cannot spare enough time for full Afternoon Tea we have a lounge in which you can relax with friends on our comfy armchairs and sofas and just have refreshments, cakes and tea from our downstairs deli. If all else fails we offer a takeaway service available from our downstairs counter which you can takeaway for a work lunch or to eat in a park.
At Biddy's our aim is to make the atmosphere as exciting as the food. If you like tea, if you like cake and you want to have a unique dinning experience at the same time then come and find us.
We like to rediscover forgotten English recipes and we change our menu daily to offer new and exciting flavour combinations. Come in and enjoy a taste of how the eccentric English used to spend their afternoons!
We also have a shop specialising in antiques and collectables relating to taking tea and eating cake from the victorian era onwards.
Remember all of our cakes are made by girls working for Biddy's except for our vegan cakes which are made by Deerly Beloved Bakery. If you want a specific cake made then we can do ANYTHING you want!
