Description:
Full-time position of 37.5 hours per week. Recently qualified AAT or equivalent required for modern growing accountancy practice based in the Reading area which provide accountancy services to growing businesses.
The position includes close liaison with the Accounts Managers. The role will be predominantly focused on personal taxation and VAT. However, as the role develops increased responsibility for corporation tax and other tax areas will be included. Will ensure the team and clients are given up to date tax advice, especially in regards to personal taxation. Tax return preparation and advice will be regular activities in relation to sole trader, partnership, LLP and limited company clients.
The right candidate should be self-motivated, enthusiastic, technically excellent and be able to prioritise workload and have a professional manner with good attention to detail. Full, clean driving licence and use of own vehicle appropriately insured is required. The candidate will want to progress their tax career quickly and would like to study for the CTA qualification.
This position offers a competitive market rate salary, pension, study package and bonus scheme.
