We ordered a fresh cream cake from juscakes in August. We paid £100 as a deposit for a cake stand. We were told to return it in good condition in order to get our money back. Nothing was mentioned about timing or documented in the receipt. I mentioned to the person taking the order thet it would be a while before we can return it due to living so far away and they agreed at the time. On returning the stand 5 weeks later, juscakes refused to return our deposit. The manager, Kamal, was rude and unaccomodating. I have never seen so poor treatment of customers. He shouted, became aggressive and even threatened me with physical violence. Two of his friends made direct threats to inflict violence on me inside the shop and Kamal did nothing to prevent it. I will never go back there again. I rarely go online and write customer reviews but I was so appalled by what I experienced and been through that I felt it is a personal responsibility to warn others of this horrible business. The manager Kamal is unprofessional and I might go far as to say he should never be in any role involving customers. Truely disgusted. I would not recommend that anyone approaches this shop. They behave like a criminal organisation.
