Stunning and locally inspired
Chelmsford is the birthplace of radio, as we're sure you know, and we love to get a bit of local colour into our design for new restaurants. So we asked designer Camille Rousseau to celebrate Chelmsford's history in her artwork. We really love what she's done: you'll find turn of the century photography from the Marconi wireless company, light fittings inspired by retro radio sets, and plenty of other little touches. We should probably mention that, as always, we'll be serving classic Italian cooking with handpicked wine to complement it.
OUR STORY
ZIZZI WAS BORN IN 1999 WITH OUR FIRST RESTAURANT OPENING IN CHISWICK. SINCE THEN WE'VE OPENED MORE THAN 100 RESTAURANTS ACROSS THE UK. OUR AIM? TO STAND OUT FROM THE CROWD. EACH RESTAURANT IS A LITTLE BIT DIFFERENT WITH A DISTINCTLY LOCAL FEEL, THANKS TO OUR 'FRESH TALENT' COLLECTIVE OF UP AND COMING ARTISTS WHO HELP TO CREATE A UNIQUE ATMOSPHERE AND DINING EXPERIENCE. ONE OF THE THINGS WE'RE MOST PROUD OF IS OUR COMMITMENT TO CHAMPIONING FRESH TALENT THROUGHOUT ZIZZI BY PROVIDING OPPORTUNITIES FOR INDIVIDUALS ACROSS ART, MUSIC, FOOD AND SERVICE. IT'S A TEAM EFFORT. THE SERVICE IS PERSONAL, THE SURROUNDINGS LOCALLY INFLUENCED, THE FOOD DELICIOUS AND THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE LEAVES YOU WANTING MORE. ZIZZI IS SERVING UP FRESH TALENT.
