TinyTalk Baby Signing & Toddler Talking classes have come to Merton & Wandsworth. The award-winning baby signing classes teaches pre-verbal babies how to communicate their needs to their parents or carers. Baby signing babies are generally happier babies as the frustration of trying to communicate their needs, are eliminated. And parents are less frustrated as they know what their baby needs or wants. Baby signing at TinyTalk, is taught using British Sign Language (BSL), nursery rhymes, props & instruments and classes are fun, relaxed, yet educational. TinyTalk believes that baby signing can play a significant role in helping early communication and language development. Lots of other language development tips are taught in the classes, such as remembering to face the child every time a sign is used, the importance of repetition and to always keep it relaxed and fun!
Toddler classes are suitable for little ones from walking to preschool. Classes are a lot more active with parachute play, language activities & games. We use the signs to encourage talking. Classes also teach teamwork, turn taking and other social skills. They are a lot of fun!
Classes are an hour long , with 30 minutes for signing and singing followed by 30min social time. This is where toys are brought out for the babies to play with and for mommies to relax with a cuppa and a chocolate biscuit, or two! See my website for class details, [email protected]
