The Sunny Sailor

The Sunny Sailor Public house (formally known as The Welcome Sailor) is a 300 year old listed building situated in Maldon, Essex which has been under new ownership since July 2014.

With an open fire to warm up in the winter and a raised deck outside providing space for 70 people to sit alongside the river Chelmer in the summer days, The Sunny Sailor is the perfect location whatever the weather.

At present, lunch is served everyday from 12-3pm and there will be a new restaurant area opening soon which will provide À la carte dining for around 35 guests.

As well as a large selection of lagers, wine and spirits, a selection of real ales are available including Sunny Boy, a golden ale locally brewed exclusively for The Sunny Sailor.

With free Wi-Fi, car park and dog friendly attitude, The Sunny Sailor is suitable for all the family and any occasion.
