Introduction
The Dove Restaurant is a small independent family run Country French Restaurant with rooms, in the tranquil Waveney Valley on the south Norfolk border. Robert and Conny Oberhoffer established themselves at the Dove in 2000 but it has been in the Oberhoffer family since 1980.
Robert is the fifth generation of chef in the Oberhoffer family, his great grandfather came to Great Britain from Alsace France in 1912.
The Dove is Country French in style, which means we prepare dishes from quality ingredients in an unpretentious manner. Our restaurant is welcoming and has a genuine warm and hospitable atmosphere. And in the warm summer months we have a large raised terrace and gardens, which would suit any gathering.
We can accommodate any type of bespoke event from family gatherings, weddings, corporate meetings and team building to cookery lessons and demonstrations.
We have two AA rosettes for our food and hospitality, and four AA stars for our Bed and Breakfast.
