Introduction
talkingtherapies@psicon is an NHS commissioned service which offers free psychological treatments to the people of Canterbury and Kent in order to help them learn new strategies for coping with common everyday problems such as Anxiety, Depression/Low mood, and Stress. We can also help with difficulties such as Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
We believe that a brief intervention can make a big difference, and that a psychological treatment should be a warm and compassionate experience carried out in a relaxed and comfortable environment.
Our staff are all highly qualified and work face to face. However, if you are not able to make it to one of our consulting rooms we can make use of video/telephone technology to enable you to access the support that you need.
We offer a range of treatments including individual therapy, psychological coaching, well-being workshops and group therapy. If we can help, you will receive a full assessment and be offered support based on your level of need.
