Sachet Filling and Sealing Machine
Our custom built form, fill and seal sachet filling machine is shown here filling sodium bicarbonate powder into plastic sachets. The sachet filling machine works by first printing onto the sachet material then forming it into a tube shape, heat-sealing the rear, sealing the bottom, filling with the desired volume of substance from the hopper at the top of the machine then simultaneously sealing and cutting the top to create a fully sealed sachet of any length from 30-150mm. When the machine is running at maximum capacity, it can output a filled and sealed sachet every second allowing us to comfortably produce up to 27,000 sachets in a single working day.
Sachets are commonly used to contain single use quantities of a given product such as shampoos or creams. This fully automated sachet filling machine is capable of filling sachets with liquids, creams gels or powders at volumes from 0-100ml or 0-100g. Our machine can handle both blank and pre-printed sachets. The sachets are manufactured from a range of laminated films including PET/PE, polyester/PE/Foil/PE and Tyvek which provide a range of properties suitable for the end use of the product being packed. Water soluble films can also be used where the application and product requires it.
Our flexible manufacturing facility allows us to accommodate small runs as well as large ones. This means we can produce limited runs which are ideal for one-off product samples or product trials as well as long runs up to and in excess of one million sachets.
