I´ve been to Nene restaurant twice already and each time left more than happy. Food is delicious, portions very generous and staff makes you feel very welcome. If you are looking for a restaurant that offers delicious food, has got a very pleasant ambiance go no further. I am looking forward to my next visit I have heard they have a belly dancer on certain evenings as well..

With its turkish cuisine, Nene Restaurant is full of promises. I have never been to Turkey and had therefore high expectations. I made my way to Beckenham town centre and I wasn't disappointed.

No need to go over the top, Nene is all about delicious food.
The pure and simple turkish decoration is the perfect choice to let clients enjoy the tasty dishes without any distraction.
I like me you hardly know turkish cuisine, the meze plate is a good introduction as it is small portions of different cold starters. If you are more into hot starters, I would suggest the börek if you like cheese or the mini köfte if you prefer meat.
For my main I had the Harem Kebab, chicken and diced pitta bread in a delicious yogurt and special tomato sauce.

The members of staff are absolutely lovely and really helpful to recommend a dish that would suit you. They definitely know how to put you at ease and make you want to come back!

I highly recommend this place, and will myself soon go back for the 3rd time since they opened!

Went to NENE for a birthday dinner with a group of friends. The food was delicious, and the service excellent. I had the Borek as a starter, the pastry was crispy and the filling really tasty. For my main course I had the Mixed Grill which was cooked to perfection.

This is the 1st time I have ever decided to write a review..because this restaurant is awesome!!

Finally a place that has opened serving authentic and delicious food,
I went with my family and everything ordered was amazing.

The restaurant has charm and beautiful decor. Its friendly, welcoming, atmospheric, filling and intimate. The service excellent and attentive with it.

Wonderful and friendly owners made this a lovely evening and a special place I will return to, and have recommended to friends to share in my experience.

We spent New Years Eve at Nene in Beckenham - The food was fantastic, the atmosphere superb and the service from the family team was absolutely outstanding.
This would be my pick as the best restaurant in Beckenham and they deserve to succeed.
We will definitely be back soon.
