German manufacturer MENTOR GmbH offers custom component design plus over 3000 standard electronic components including diverse opto components, light guides (including unique miniature light guides for the 2.54 matrix), sensors, switches, equipment handles and knobs.
With leading-edge design, prototype, test and manufacture equipment, their custom component solutions are both innovative and high quality; since its inception in January 2012, Multitron has shipped millions of MENTOR components but has never had one quality return.
Customisation may involve merely changing the dimensions of a standard component (which can often be achieved with minimal tooling cost), although more often, MENTOR and Multitron work with their design engineers to design a component for a specific requirement.
