Our custom bow are designed for you at a price that you can afford. Select the type of bow you want, tell us your height if you want this to be considered, tell us the poundage and draw length you want; right or left handed, triple or double laminates we can do it for you or help you do it yourself.
We want to help you obtain the longbow you want; from making your own, to asking us make one for you. We provide the the raw materials and help you need to achieve your ultimate longbow.

"Modern Longbow Design & Toxophilus" takes the words of Roger Ascham (Toxophilus the longbow archers god) and relates them to our own modern longbow in a way that is both interesting and logical to the modern bowman. Beyond this, the book has sufficient depth that will allow you to make your own longbow and understand why you are doing what you are doing, or simply enjoy learning more. The knowledge in the book comes from the past, and is interpreted for you by the author in a way that is, well...., so obvious that you wonder why people make such a fuss about longbow making. The author actively tries to dispel your fears about making longbow and the copious diagrams beautifully illustrate the points made and bring the text to life.
Apart from the fine illustrations (some of which are included for your enjoyment), the book contains numerous quotes from Ascham; a gentleman writing about longbow in the time of King Henry the VIII, his words are insightful and illuminating. The text of Ascham is written in English, at a time when books should have been written in Latin; these controversial English words are very enjoyable when read with the authors interpretations.
