Introduction
KP Fabrication & Welding was formed in 1996, with owners Phil Jones and Kevin Hilgert combining more than 40 years experience in aluminium and steel fabrication for the transport industry. Phil started in the industry in 1977, undertaking a boilermaker apprenticeship in his hometown of Kellerberrin. After completing his apprenticeship in the WA Wheatbelt town, Phil moved to Perth and found a job working for Kevin.
