I.ROC Wellbeing

I•ROC wellbeing is a subsidiary company of Penumbra, an innovative Scottish mental health charity, working to improve the mental wellbeing across the nation. IROC wellbeing has recently launched a powerful set of digital mental health recovery tools internationally. The pioneering digital toolkit is a means for health and social care practitioners to measure the recovery journey of people they support. This allows organisations to generate immediate reports to demonstrate the value of their work.

The toolkit was developed by Penumbra staff in partnership with the people using their services and has been used there for the last 5 years. Designed to be reviewed every 3 months, it facilitates an outcome-focused discussion between the person being supported and staff on 12 key indicators of wellbeing across the HOPE Model (Home, Opportunity, People and Empowerment). This provides opportunity for issues that the service user may have been nervous or unaware of to arise naturally during the conversation.
