"Since I have been using AMSOIL products I have reordered.

I change my oil every 12k with the signature series and oil filter. I change the fluid earlier because I race the vehicle at the drag strip 1 to maybe 2 times a month. The oil analyst still holds up just great.

I ran the severe gear 75w90 in my manual transmission and just swapped it out for AMSOIL MTF 75w90. The Severe Gear was a lot smoother but was not originally recommended for my car. My next change I will be going back to severe gear 75w90. I run the fluid in the transmission due to the higher loads the car is seeing on the race track. I know it is not recommended but it used to be a long time ago, ford when they first released the mt-82 transmission had a plethora of problems with it due to quality control issues, I mean the transmission is assembled and shipped from CHINA. Needless to say it was costing fords a** so they did not want to warranty transmissions with aftermarket fluid. But customers challenged them under the Magnusson-moss act and ford lost, they then went to CHINA and fixed quality control issues.

I am about to change my differential fluid to 75w90 severe gear. It still has the stock fluid in it.

I have no complaints and only smiles. "

"The Motul 5100 Semi Synthetic is a lot more viscous than the AMSOIL. In terms of performance, I have found any oil change be it a car, motorcycle, boat whatever etc always feels like it has a better “Get up and Go” after an oil change. The main reason I switched to the AMSOIL full synthetic is that full synthetic SHOULDN’T break down as quickly as a semi or conventional oil. THIS is where the extra $$$ for the AMSOIL should come into play. That being said it is hard to know when the breakdown period is with any oil, and the trick (in my eye) is to keep on top of regular oil changes in order to prevent breakdown from happening. After 3000kms the oil that I drained out of the CBR yesterday still looked not to bad and smelt okay. I think the bike runs a touch smoother with the AMSOIL because of the viscosity, it’s that much thinner of an oil, and the bike seems to idle lower and run more freely than with the Motul Semi Syn.

I have always heard good things about this product along with Mobil 1 Full Syntheic & Royal Purple…
