DMD's MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) | Muay Thai Boxing in Brunswick

DMD’s Mixed Mar­tial Arts is a fully equipped gym located in East Brunswick. We offer Muay Thai/?Kickboxing, Box­ing, Brazil­ian Jiu Jitzu (BJJ), and Boot­camp. There are Women’s only classes on Mon­day and Wednes­day evenings and Sat­ur­day morn­ing. We are a dou­ble storey gym; the ground floor has a padded room where the BJJ classes are held and has a wide selec­tion of free weights and weight machines. Upstairs there is a large open, mat­ted area where the box­ing, kick­box­ing, Muay Thai, Women’s only, and Bootamp classes are held, or if you want to come in and train with a friend. There are also punch/?kicking bags, two box­ing rings, bikes, row machines and a ply­o­met­ric and resis­tance train­ing area for box­ing and kick­box­ing. All facil­i­ties are free to use for any member.
The head instruc­tor Dave D’Aversa is a licensed World Box­ing Coun­cil and World Muay Thai Coun­cil trainer. David has been pas­sion­ate about the sport since his late teens and now has 4 Vic­to­rian Cham­pi­onship belts. David teaches from expe­ri­ence, with a strong focus on technique.
Mar­tial Arts build con­fi­dence and encour­age self-?discipline. Whether you want to lose weight, tone up, get fit, learn self-?defence or ulti­mately com­pete, you’ll fit in at DMD’s. Don’t think that you have to know what you’re doing before you start. Every­body started as a beginner.
