Collectiviste Eco Design & Production
The Penyu Lighting Collection is hand crafted from responsibly sourced oyster shells (upcycled) and recycled glass. The shade itself is made from fibreglass, which receives GreenGlobe, and contributes to LEED and Energy Star ratings. All Collectiviste products are made using natural sustainable materials and traditional production processes. Every lamp is accompanied by perfectly paired warm white LED bulbs, which use up to 90% less energy than their incandescent or halogen counterparts.
Provenance
The story behind these beautiful lamps takes us from the fisherman tribes on the island of Madura; to Papa Agung’s workshop, set in the grounds of an old temple on the side of Kintamani volcano and finally, to Collectiviste HQ in the heart of the Norfolk countryside.
