Apple Montessori Schools - Mahwah

Our Mahwah school offers infant, toddler, and preschool/kindergarten programs as well as before and after school daycare. Our Mahwah campus was once the Commodore Perry Public School, where many Apple Montessori parents once walked the halls as students themselves. The local historical society honored AMS with an award for maintaining the integrity of this charming building while also updating it with many modern conveniences. Children enjoy a school-like atmosphere infused with the joy of learning the Montessori way. Large classrooms with natural lighting offer dedicated spaces for academic and enrichment activities. Outdoor, children enjoy four age-appropriate playgrounds with safety turf and support padding, two uniquely designed swimming pools, an outdoor sports court and a shaded picnic area. During inclement weather the children can be found in the gymnasium developing gross motor skills or on our indoor stage practicing their theatrical flair. The property provides easy access from major highways and ample parking. The school is secured with fingerprint entry and video monitoring provides parents with remote access to their child's classroom. Another important safety feature is our germ sanitizing machine which kills 99.9% of germs and viruses as well as the unique air filtration system which scrubs the air of germs throughout the day.
