Introduction
Roding Restaurant is situated in picturesque Abridge, Essex. You will notice on arrival the stunning characteristics of the exterior of the restaurant. This continues as you enter the the restaurant where the interior is a blend of East and West - a typical English countryside “pub†with low ceilings, wood beams and the original fireplace mixed with traditional Chinese ornaments, paintings and lanterns which combine to create a friendly and authentic Anglo-Oriental atmosphere.
The service is efficient and friendly and we are delighted to help with any questions, advice or special requests that you may have whether it’s your first experience with genuine Peking & Cantonese cuisine or not.
Our cuisine is genuinely Peking or Cantonese, with many dishes to offer including a wide range of vegetarian dishes and seafood specialties. We find that Chinese food in England tends to be a compromised mix of styles that becomes somewhat watered down and disappointing. Not at the Roding Chinese Restaurant, our reputation stands most of all on the quality and authenticity of our food. Peking and Cantonese cuisines are justifiably well loved across the globe and we aim to produce the very best selection of dishes that they have to offer.
