Introduction
The Ritz English Institute is located on 2/F and 4/F Saavedra-Pacis Building, 13 Del Rosario Street, Balasan, Iloilo, Philippines. We offer English language courses including General English and Academic English amongst others. We also offer exam preparation courses for the TOEFL, IELTS, and TOEIC.
Mission
The primary mission of the Ritz English Institute is to prepare international students for successful study at the undergraduate or graduate level in institutions of higher learning in the English speaking countries - or in the professional level. Students are taught to:
read university-level materials;
write academic papers and exams;
speak more fluently in both formal and informal settings;
take good, clear notes at lectures;
take timed, objective tests; and,
function knowledgeably in English speaking countries for the purpose of establishing and maintaining productive relations with fellow students, professors and other members of the host community.
The Institute is intended to serve speakers of other languages and is dedicated to offering superior instruction and best possible occasions for practice, using current materials and techniques, and providing an ideal learning environment.
These goals are accomplished by a well-trained staff enthusiastically committed to the success of all learners, actively involved in meeting their needs, and unquestionably focussed on functioning as a team for the greater good of all concerned.
