Daniel Clifford's quest for culinary perfection has taken the restaurant to another level over the past 12 years since he took over in August 1998; his cooking has a modern-focus which is underpinned by classical French technique offering seriously sophisticated food with dishes arriving dressed to thrill. Superb-quality ingredients, advanced technique and technical prowess add wow-factor to the a la carte and tasting menu and allow flavours to shine, while offering unexpected texture contrasts and combinations to our guests.
The recently refurbished, sleek, contemporary but comfortable dining room accommodates 12 well-spaced tables dressed in crisp white linen with beautiful fabrics and soft furnishings.
Predominantly French service is polished and attentive; the team as enthusiastic about Daniel Clifford's innovative cooking as the chef himself.
Upstairs there is a private dining room, and a sophisticated bar and terrace for alfresco drinks with river views. Our private dining room is the perfect location for small weddings, lavish birthday celebrations, simple family gatherings or corporate entertaining.
