Introduction
Maureen and Pietro Lantrua first opened La Capanna Restaurant in 1983 the forth of five family run catering businesses to be opened by the couple since moving to Norfolk in the early seventies. La Capanna soon became one of the most popular restaurants in the area, becoming booked up at weekends weeks in advance. After running the business for over a decade, the couple leased the businesses to retire. The restaurant has recently been re-opened by their daughter Lisa Lantrua. With her Mum, Maureen, back in the kitchen, and with her Dad, Pietro, and her two daughters, Hanna and Rebecca also on board to help, the restaurant has re-opened as if they had never left, and has very quickly regained it's place as one of the most popular local restaurants.
