Learn How to do a Turn in the road
This is a quick video explaining how to do the Turn in the road maneuver for the UK DSA Driving Test.
Turn in the road:
ONE:
PREPARE: Into 1st, little gas, biting point. (Clutch control)
OBSERVE: 360 degree effective observations. When safe......
MANOEUVRE: Release handbrake, steer quickly right to full lock (No dry steering) Prepare to brake on opposite side of road. About 1 metre from kerb steer quickly to the left as you brake to stop before the kerb. Handbrake on.
TWO:
PREPARE: Into reverse, little gas, biting point (Clutch control)
OBSERVE: 360 degree effective observations. When safe........
MANOEUVRE: Release handbrake, steer quickly left to full lock (No dry steering) Prepare to brake on opposite side of road. About 1 metre from kerb steer quickly to the right as you brake to a stop before the kerb. Handbrake on.
THREE:
PREPARE: into 1st,little gas, biting point (Clutch control)
OBSERVE: 360 degree effective observations. When safe.......
MANOEUVRE: Release handbrake, steer right enough to bring you to a normal road position and if its safe........gently accelerate away.
