Tungsten Twill Weave mesh

Tungsten is the most widely used of the refractory metals. In wire form, it is essential for the production of lighting products such as wire filament, and other goods where its high temperature properties are of use. Among its properties are a melting point of 3410ºC, a low coefficient of thermal expansion and low vapor pressure at elevated temperatures, along with good electrical and thermal conductivity.

Each weft wire passes over two and under two warp wires, and each warp wire passes over and under two weft wires. The wire diameter for both (warp and weft) is mostly the same.

Characteristics of Tungsten Twill Weave Mesh:
square aperture, less rigid than plain weave, especially suitable for deforming, strong wire cloth due to ratio of wire diameter and aperture, it is mostly used for filtration less than 63 µm.

Applications of Tungsten twill weave mesh:
1. Diagonally seamed, non-marking, cylinder mould covers thickeners, breast roll covers, and extractor and couch rollers
2. Phosphor bronze wires for banknotes and security papers
3. Conveyor belts for washers, dryers and sludge presses
4. Mixed wire cloth (polyester/stainless steel) for production of non-woven
5. Diagonally seamed dandy roll covers for fine and cigarette papers
6. Press wires for the hardboard industry
