Tungsten Sheet for High Resistance Boats

After rolling and processing with deflection reaching 60%, the density of tungsten sheet basically comes close to tungsten's theory density. Therefore, tungsten sheet possesses the properties of high density, balanced internal structure and excellent high creep strength temperature.

Appearance: black or polished, hot roll or cold roll

Surface condition: material may be supplied with as-rolled, as cleaned, as machined, or as-ground finish

Heat treatment: Tungsten sheet is rolled and annealed to provide the optimum condition for the desired end use.

Physical and chemical properties:
1. Purity:W=99.95%;
2. Density: =19.0g/cm3;
3. Flatness: =2%;

Characteristics:
1. Hard, brittle, gray solid.
2. Not found native.
3. High electrical conductivity.
4. Soluble in a mixture of nitric acid and hydrofluoric acid.
5. Low toxicity.
6. Corroded by seawater.
7. Oxidizes in air at 400°C, the rate increasing rapidly with temperature.

Hazards: finely divided form is highly flammable and may ignite spontaneously.

Tolerance (as W) (insoluble compounds): 5 mg/m3 of air; soluble compounds, 1 mg/m3 of air.

Applications of Tungsten Sheet:
1.Tungsten sheet is widely used in reflection shield, cover plate applied in the sapphire growth furnace
2. Heating tape, connecting pieces applied in vacuum furnace
3. Titanium sputtering target applied in plasma coating film
4. High temperature resistance boats.
