Tungsten Plain Weaving Mesh

Tungsten is the most widely used of the refractory metals. In wire form, it is essential for the production of lighting products such as wire filament, and other goods where its high temperature properties are of use. Among its properties are a melting point of 3410ºC, a low coefficient of thermal expansion and low vapor pressure at elevated temperatures, along with good electrical and thermal conductivity.

Each weft wire passes over one and under one warp wire, and each warp wire passes over one and under one weft wire, every weft wire have and warp wire the same diameter. Fabric shall be formed by spacing the main and cross wires at a right angle.

When the entire main and cross wires are parallel and equally intervals, the mesh forms a square, and, when the width is different, it becomes rectangular.

Meanwhile, production of Tungsten Plain Weaving Mesh up to the same wire gauge as open mesh is theoretically possible. But use of wire gauge about 80% of open mesh is optimum due to changes in structure at the time of weaving.
