Nickel Chromium Mesh

The Nickel Chromium Mesh also called as Ni80Cr20 mesh is comprised of 80% Ni and 20% Cr. It is popular to offer the superior resistance to corrosion and oxidation at the elevated temperature and large melting point of 1400oC. It is non-deformable and offers almost double resistance than the other nichrome alloys. The wire mesh attains high coefficient of electrical resistively at the elevated temperatures. So it reduces the flow of current and generates large amount of heat when heated extensively.
