Invar Alloy Wire for magnetic Applications

Invar wire is containing iron, nickel and carbon and is expansion alloy.
Invar 36 is a 36% nickel-iron alloy possessing a rate of thermal expansion approximately one-tenth that of carbon steel at temperatures up to 400ºF(204ºC)

Invar is a trademark for an iron-nickel alloy containing 35-36% nickel and characterized by an extremely low coefficient of thermal expansion (excellent for applications requiring no dimensional changes with temperature variations.) Invar is strong, tough, and ductile and possesses a useful degree of corrosion resistance.
Invar 42 is a 41% nickel-iron controlled expansion alloy which has been used in a wide variety of glass-to-metal sealing applications.

Super Invar 32-5, a magnetic, austenitic, solid solution alloy containing iron, nickel, and cobalt, is designed to provide minimum thermal expansion at room temperatures. This Invar alloy wire also exhibits austenite stability to service temperature at least -67ºFand thermal expansion properties less than those of Invar 36 alloy (36% nickel-iron) when used in the -67/203& ̊F (-55/95ºC) temperature range.
