Meet Our Team (4)
Alice Richmond
Client Support Assistant
For the past 19 years, Alice Richmond has been helping the Zimmer Law Firm connect with clients, working to coordinate seminars, set appointments, receive client feedback, and streamline every client’s estate planning experience. At the heart of Alice’s goals at work is a simple desire to ensure that every client who walks into our office receives the professional treatment and assurance he or she deserves. Her everyday interactions with clients are what bring her the most satisfaction: “I really have a desire to be in contact with people – to help people – and I care very deeply about the satisfaction of our clients."
Barry H Zimmer
Owner / Attorney at Law
Barry H. Zimmer founded THE ZIMMER LAW FIRM in June 1993, to practice in the areas of estate planning, estate administration, and business succession planning. His goal was and continues to be helping clients understand and de-mystify the often confusing world of estate planning in an ever-changing society, and to implement effective estate planning with minimal effort and time investment. The firm works from the belief that planning should always be driven by purpose. As a result, there are no “canned” or pre-set planning solutions. Instead, Zimmer helps clients identify their goals first and then builds estate and business plans based on that understanding.
Darlene Creed
Administrative Assistant
Darlene helps us keep our contact with clients efficient and helpful. She handles special requests from clients, and she makes sure that each component of a client’s case is handled by the correct personnel within the office. She enjoys working with clients to get to the bottom of what may be troubling them, helping ensure that all the loose ends get tied up for every case. Along with addressing the practicalities of estate planning, Darlene takes time to address clients’ personal concerns. “I like knowing that I can help clients,” she notes, “especially when I can clear things up if people call in feeling frustrated. People are dealing with a lot and it’s good to know I can relieve some of that.”
Nick Rosenbauer
Attorney at Law
A native of Fort Thomas, Kentucky, Nick joined the firm in the Spring of 2013. After graduating from Covington Latin School, he studied history and political science at Thomas More College. Nick then moved to Dayton in 2009 to attend law school at the University of Dayton. Nick earned his J.D. and license to practice law in the State of Ohio in 2012. He then began his career working in Dayton, Ohio as a Social Security Disability attorney before joining the Zimmer Law Firm in 2013. He currently lives with his wife in Monroe, Ohio.
Nick has enjoyed immersing himself in estate planning, and helping us fulfill our mission of ensuring clients’ peace of mind. “I’ve seen families get torn apart fighting over assets,” he explains. “I want to help however I can. There are so many tools that work for different situations. I like being able to sit clients down and help them understand what they need to get done, and how we can make that happen.”
