We are a small family company of qualified and very experienced guides. We are proud of the fact that between us, we speak a variety of languages, so, wherever you are from, we can provide a service. But in particular, we are proud of being Nepalese. Nepal is one of the most beautiful countries in the world for an adventure Holiday, a family holiday, or a honeymoon Holiday. It has some of the best Trekking places in the world. Additionally, the Nepalese people are renowned for their hospitality. We want to show you our country and help you enjoy it, at your own pace. We can help you decide what kind of Trek would suit you best. And then, once on the Trek, we can help you get the most out of it, whether your interest is in culture, geology, or animal and plant life. One of us will be your guide throughout the trek. Trekking Planner handles all the logistics of the trips and specializes in small groups. Because we are a family company our clients have the advantage of receiving personalized service. If this is your first time in Nepal, Trekking Planner will help you put together an itinerary and answer all your questions. During Trekking we are flexible to revise an itinerary as needed, due to weather or a client’s health related issues. Trekking Planner also makes sure our clients trek at the pace of their choice and focuses on aspects of Nepal life and landscape that interest them the most.
Most visitors to Nepal are concerned that their travels do no harm to people and the environment. Trekking Planner founders started out as a porter, and are very supportive of this subject. We can assure you we make sure our porters are not overloaded, are paid fairly and they insured properly. We also use Eco friendly lodges whenever possible.

Dipak Lamichhane
Executive Team Leader
I am the founder and leader of the Nepal Trekking Planner team. Originally from the Gurkha District, the hilly area of Nepal, I now live with my wife and two children in Katmandu. I am a government trained professional trekking guide and, since qualifying in 1998, I have guided on most of the trekking routes and tours in Nepal, as well as acting as a travel consultant for several well-known trekking companies. It has been an exciting journey for me, from porter to highly respected guide and consultant. And I am delighted to now be leading my own team, using all my guiding and business experience to provide the best possible service for each client. Nepal is a fascinating and diverse country, where just a few miles will take you into a completely different landscape. I enjoy finding new routes so that our clients can have the best possible choice. And I enjoy travelling with them as they discover my country for themselves.

I am a young, dedicated, energetic and hard working individual fluent in English. I am a trained trekking guide with knowledge and experience of trekking since 2011. In addition to managing the company’s affairs I am currently studying in bachelor of travel and tourism. I have in-depth knowledge and experience in dealing with clients. As a director of the company I am responsible of planning and implementing various trekking and other trips and I act as the coordinator between the company and the clients. I have trekked extensively throughout the trekking zones of Nepal in Everest, Annapurna and the Langtang region. I am a firm believer that clients like to interact with local people and experience the cultural part of places they visit. During the trips we bring our groups in contact with the local people so that they can have an insight in the local culture and get the real life experience.
