Anjan Thapa (Kumar)
President
Born in Dhading in 1977,Kumar aka Anjan Thapa "Kumar" had humble beginnings in his hometown or village district in rural Nepal. Having been born and bred in the mountainous regions of Nepal, one shares an affinity with the hills and mountains. Thapa was no exception and had a strong desire to show people his beautiful country and at the same time do something for his community. Thus, he embarked on his journey to achieve his ends by first securing his degree from Ratna Rajya College. After doing so, he passionately got involved in working as a Trekking staff and guide from 1996. With ample experience and knowledge in this area, he kick started Haru Treks and Expeditions alongwith a partner in 2000. As the business expanded and his repute grew, Kumar and his partner decided to set up separate agencies as they both felt they could explore better if they worked independently. Kumar set up Asahi Treks and Expeditions in 2004 and is successfully conducting such treks and expeditions till date.
