I am a storyteller. I have a large repertoire of stories, including
ancient Greek myths, Celtic legends, Medieval romances and Grimms
fairy tales. My stories run the gamut from fables to epics. As well
as traditional tales I often create stories on the fly using
suggestions from the audience. Each session is unique and adapted to
the needs and requirements of my audience, and may reflect the season,
upcoming festivals or topical themes. Audience size can be anything from a small group to a whole auditorium.

I tell anywhere where people want to be entertained - weddings, corporate meals, schools, libraries, historic sites, ... as well as running story walks where I tell or create stories as we walk through woods or fields.

Along with sessions where I tell stories for entertainment I run
workshops for children and adults in storytelling skills. These
include the basics of the storytellers art – e.g. how to remember
stories, how to embellish them and how to speak in public – and
techniques and games to spark creativity and help create new stories.
Workshops can be single hour, whole days with one group, or multiple
days depending upon the aims of the participants.

It's not just storytelling though. I have many years of experience as a presenter, lecturer and public speaker and run training sessions on presentation and public speaking skills.
