Alan has over 17 years experience in treating people. Having started his training in massage in 2001 he went on to train & qualify in sports and remedial massage in 2002 and as a registered Osteopath in 2009, graduating from the Surrey Institute of Osteopathic Medicine. Since 2009 he has undertaken further training in Dry Needling, Myofascial Release and Rock Taping among others.

Alan is a structural and classical osteopath in Croydon and will use a style and range of techniques that are best suited and tailored to the individual. He works with a range of patients of all ages and levels of fitness. This may include those in pain with a variety of conditions and injuries, especially people who experience back, neck or joint pain and stiffness, or those with sports injuries. He specialises in the treatment of sports injuries, headaches, elderly and of course back and neck pain.

Alan was the team physio for Crystal Palace Ladies FC for 5 seasons, and has also worked with professional skiers. He has been working at the Wellness Therapy Centre since 2009 and thought so highly of the centre with its breadth and quality of the treatments on offer that he took it over in 2010.

He has a teaching qualification and has been teaching Sports & Remedial massage at level 5, Anatomy and a variety of workshops for several highly respected London schools over the last 10 years. He was a council member for the Sports & Remedial Therapy Council which set standards and core curricula for Sports and Remedial therapies in the UK and is a consultant on the new Ofqual recognised Level 4 and Level 5 Sports Massage Qualifications for VTCT and ITEC.

​Alan has a passion for skiing and is a qualified BASI level 2 ski instructor. When he gets the chance, he loves travelling and watching films.

Alan is registered with most of the major insurance companies including BUPA, Simply Health, Axa/PPP, WPA, Prudential and Cigna.

Alan is available Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Denise is a CBT Psychotherapist, Coach and Counsellor. She has a Master of Science Degree in Rational Emotive and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy from the University of London and a Certificate in Psychological Coaching, validated by Middlesex University

She provides Psychological Therapy and in her Coaching works with cognitive behavioural coaching techniques to help individuals achieve their personal goals.

Giedre provdes acupuncture in Croydon having graduated from Middlesex University with a First Class Honours degree in Chinese Acupuncture & Tui Na Massage.

Committed, compassionate, and highly skilled in multiple disciplines, Giedre seeks to empower both women and men to achieve their optimal life and health goals through natural medicine practices, informed integrative nutrition and lifestyle management.

Giedre’s approach is to treat the individual as a whole, by working with the body and mind in tandem to bring the person back to a state of homeostasis. From there true health and a real sense of wellbeing emerge.

Being as an adult nurse, Giedre, had always strived to bridge the gap between Eastern and Western medicine. She became interested in Chinese medicine through a practice of yoga and meditation, what led her on a wonderful journey to the practitioner she is today.

Giedre graduated from Middlesex University, London with First Class degree in Traditional Chinese Acupuncture.

In 2012, during her clinical practice at Liaoning hospital of Chinese Medicine in Shenyang, China, Giedre had deepened her knowledge and practical skills with top Chinese doctors and professors. She specialized in treating neurological, muscular –skeletal and gynaecological diseases, and had clinical practice in anti-aging & cosmetology department.

Being the member of “Projects Abroad” organization, Giedre went to Nepal in 2013, where she worked as a volunteer acupuncturist in Sahara physiotherapy rehabilitation hospital in Kathmandu. For 3 months she provided treatments of acupuncture, massage, moxibustion and cupping for stroke patients, patients with MS, muscular – skeletal, neurological and other disorders.

Giedre treats people using Chinese Acupuncture and Dr Tung and Dr Tan Balancing method acupuncture styles.

In addition, Giedre completed Manual Lymphatic drainage course and was awarded with Diploma in Manual Lymphatic Drainage & Combined Decongestive Therapy from Original Dr. Vodder School in Walchsee/Austria.

With years of extensive study and learning different techniques, Giedre is able to provide a bespoke, holistic service incorporating current research and findings.

Giedre is covered by professional indemnity insurance and bound by a strict code of professional conduct, ethics and safe practice.

Reflexology​

Gillian studied ITEC Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology leading onto an ITEC Diploma Level 3 in Reflexology, then had additional training in Pre-conception, Pregnancy and Post-natal with Sally Earlam and Spinal Reflexology from the London School of Reflexology. Gillian also specialises in Facial Reflexology graduating from the London School of Reflexology.

Her initial interest in reflexology started with her own amazing experience of reflexology through a “taster” course at the local adult education centre and in the hands of another practitioner.

What started as a last resort for a recurring condition became, not only the solution, but also a great insight to what was possible through the knowledge of this fantastic complementary therapy. Having researched the background and benefits of reflexology and being so intrigued, Gillian decided to train as a therapist herself and Reflexology is now her “passion”.​

Gillian has experience with a variety of clientele with different conditions and ailments. As a practitioner, she has seen just how beneficial these treatments are and how much it is enjoyed and always looks forward to meeting new clients and sharing her knowledge and experience with them.

Giulia is newly graduated with a diploma from the International College of Osteopathic Medicine (ICOM) in Turin, Italy and a Masters Degree in Osteopathy at the Surrey Institute of Osteopathic Medicine in 2017.

Receiving osteopathic treatment at a young age was the introduction that inspired her to study osteopathy herself.

While at ICOM Giulia trained in structural osteopathy, cranio-sacral treatment

and visceral osteopathy, which gives her the opportunity to treat patients according to their specific needs. After graduating she has taken further training, including a postgraduate course in Taping.

Giulia has a passion for ice-skating, having competed at national level and taught figure skating to both children and adults. In her free time she enjoys reading and going to the gym.

Giulia is available on Mondays,Thursdays, Saturdays and Fortnightly on Sundays.

Harry graduated from The International College of Oriental Medicine in East Grinstead and was awarded a First-Class BSc (Hons) degree in 2017. He is a licensed member of The British Acupuncture Council.

Harry specialises in five-elements acupuncture and stems & branches acupuncture which focuses on bringing the patient back into their constitutional health. He is deeply interested and engaged in the study of Classical Chinese Medicine with the aim of embodying those ancient concepts so as to use acupuncture to its fullest potential in treatment.

Harry was seeking a greater connection to himself and the world around him and came upon the opportunity to study acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. This training allowed him to understand himself in a profound way and gave him insight into seeing the body as a whole as well as it's connection to the environment.

Kelly is our highly skilled and popular, senior beauty therapist in Croydon with over ten years experience and one of the longest serving members of the team. Kelly has been at the centre through its different guises from 2003. Beauty is her passion and since completing her beauty training (nvq level 2 & 3) in 2002 she has undergone further training in a range of other treatments including, Lycon Hot wax, intimate waxing, Gelish Gel Nails, Universal Contour Wrap, Dermalogica skin health, Elemis spa and Gerards skincare and Spray tanning. A friendly and professional beauty therapist who appreciates everybody is different and will endeavor to tailor all treatments to the individuals needs.

Kelly is available on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.

Liz has been a qualified beauty therapist since 2006. Since qualifying she has worked mainly in spa environments where she has been able to provide beauty treatments to many clients and enabled them to relax, feel pampered and helping them to look their very best.

Liz is friendly and welcoming as well as being an excellent therapist which is probably because she is one of those lucky people who really enjoy their job and enjoy providing all different types of treatments, from massages to pedicures, facials to hair removal.

"The best part of my job is definitely the clients and being able to help them look and feel good about themselves".

In her spare time Liz likes to socialise with friends and family and loves to escape into a good book when she has five minutes.

When not working as a beauty therapist or enjoying her spare time, Liz works as a counsellor providing counselling to all those who need a listening ear.
