Introduction
The Sanctuary Bar & Restaurant can be found just 9 miles from Nottingham and is located in the heart of the residential community of Upper Saxondale.
The stylish, laid back restaurant has a beautiful interior with a lovely mix of modern and classic design including stunning chandeliers, large Victorian mirrors and lots of the natural light. The restaurant can seat 60 comfortably with room for more outside on a sunny day and if it’s just drinks and nibbles you’re after then we have a cosy bar area that can seat over 20 people.
The brasserie style menu majors on seasonality, making the most of local, quality produce, wherever possible, including our beef and steak from the Longhorn breed of cattle reared at Hardwick Hall Farm in Nottinghamshire.
We also offer a changing bar food specials menu with dishes such as mini minted lamb pie, handcut chips £6.50, homemade fishfingers & skinny fries £8.50 and houmous and warm pitta bread £3.00.
We currently offer our Early Bird menu (2 courses £13.50, 3 courses £16.50) ALL evening Tuesday to Thursday and Friday 5pm – 7pm. We also serve this menu at lunchtimes on Fridays and Saturdays as well as some lighter bites.
Sundays are a laid back affair with a full roast for £9.95, 2 courses for £14.50 and 3 courses for £18.50 or just pop along for a drink, enjoy the Sunday papers and maybe a roast beef & gravy roll for just £4.50.
There is a private dining room perfect for parties of between 14 & 36 people & venue is also available for exclusive hire for weddings, christenings, birthday parties & corporate events.
