Introduction
Originally opening in 1861, The Brighton Hotel sprung up around the need for citizens and traders to find a home cooked meal and a warm bed on their travels. Over the years, the original town center of Brighton at the corner of East and Winton was annexed by the City. In fact, The Brighton is one of only a small number of historic Brighton buildings still standing today.
Still, The Brighton Restaurant is synonymous with good food at reasonable prices in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The Brighton Restaurant has had many loyal customers over the years. People tell us stories of sharing lunches and dinners with several generations of friends and family. Some received their marriage proposals here and return to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries and more.
Under the ownership of Joe Gianforti, The Brighton Restaurant has once again been reborn with new décor, an expanded menu and a well-stocked bar. All menu items are made from the finest, freshest ingredients. Our meats are USDA choice and cooked just the way you like it. Fish and seafood are brought fresh to Rochester daily. If there is something you don't see on the menu, please ask your server. We will try to accommodate any special requests.
The Brighton is also the perfect destination after a night out on the town. Chances are it's right on your way home. So, even if you want a full dinner, a light bite or a spectacular dessert, head to The Brighton. We always have a wide assortment of pies made by the School of the Holy Childhood and specialty desserts from Crème de la Crème.
We hope you enjoy your dining experience and visit often.
