Now HOW TO CONFIGURE A ROUTER FOR A D.V.R GO TO RUN COMMAND- TYPE CMD- THEN ENTER- TYPE I.P.CONFIG /ALL- THEN ENTER. In these commands you see the entire ip configurations of ur network. now we use gateway in the internet browser to open the router page on the screen ( like 192.168.1.1 ). use username & password of the router to open the routers page. now go advance setup- nat- dmz host- and type the d.v.r i.p. in box & save & then go to maintenance- sysrestart-restart.then wait for 2 minutes until rouer reboots. for meanwhile you go to d.v.r menu setup-network-& put i.ps into network settinf of the d.v.r which you get from the ipconfig command. & save it. & now you call to your internet provider & say i need a fix i.p address or static ip address.from that ip address you can watch your camera on the laptop.
