The Salt Lake Relationship Center’s philosophy is rooted in the idea that people are happiest and most satisfied in their lives when they are strongly connected to other people. We therefore place a premium on creating deep interpersonal relationship connection as a primary component of feeling more meaning in one’s life. We believe this type of connection starts with an individual’s awareness of his/her own needs and wants (or, in other words, an individual’s relationship with his- or herself), as having a healthy relationship with yourself leads to clearer communication and more trusting when developing connection with others. The Salt Lake Relationship Center therefore uses therapy, classes, groups, and “relationship experiences” as a way to deepen and develop connection with yourself and with others as a basis for an overall more satisfying life.
