Introduction
The Sakya Buddhist Center is traditional center of Tibetan Buddhism in Santa Monica. It was founded in 2010 by Lama Jampa Thaye to enable people to learn the meditation and teachings of the Sakya tradition of Buddhism. The tradition is led by His Holiness Sakya Trizin, who will visit the Center in May 2018
The Center has also hosted teachings by Lama Jampa Thaye and Lama Kunga Thartse Rinpoche.
The Center offers a wide program of meditation and introductory classes is administered by Dechen
