Introduction
Rob Francis is the Principal Consultant at Francis Organizational Consultants; a firm that specializes in organizational behaviour change. Rob Francis is a graduate of the Royal Military College of Canada, a 20-year veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces, and holds a Masters of Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Saint Mary’s University in Halifax. Francis Organizational Consultants Inc. was founded in 2018 by Rob Francis, MSc, MBA. After providing behavioural consulting services while serving as an Officer in the Canadian Armed Forces, Rob launched his consulting practice to work with the best and brightest organizational consultants dedicated to driving real change within organizations.
LCdr (Ret’d) Rob Francis released from the CAF in July 2016 after 20 years of service. Originally from Stellarton, Nova Scotia, Rob began his career in the Royal Canadian Navy as a Naval Warfare Officer, having served in Her Majesty’s Canadian Ships PRESERVER, HALIFAX, and VILLE DE QUEBEC as a bridge watch keeper and an Anti-Submarine Warfare director. He spent over 500 days at sea, including a deployment to the Persian Gulf in response to the 9/11 attacks. A highlight of Rob’s naval career his work as a Ship’s Diver.
In 2016 Rob began his post-military career as the Vice-President, HR at Medcan in downtown Toronto. In 2018 he took on a leading role with a new executive health clinic, Franmed Health, as its Chief Operating Officer.
