Introduction
Our casual Italian restaurant is unique. The setting is contemporary and our menu is inexpensive and simple. Great pasta, seafood, panini, salad, and more.
We first opened in San Francisco in 1994. Simplicity was the key to opening others around the Bay Area and Southern California. Each Pasta Pomodoro is unique and fits well in its neighborhood. - Adriano Paganini, Founder
At Pasta Pomodoro we believe that just as good food nourishes our bodies and spirits, it can also play a role in building and strengthening communities.
Our restaurants are active in their neighborhoods and broader communities, offering support to local organizations, charities, schools, teams and clubs, through both monetary and product donations.
Our "Pasta Partnerships" and "Scrip School Programs" enable each restaurant to support local organizations and make charitable donations. Through "Pasta Partnerships," we donate 20 percent of the total food and beverage sales (excluding tax and gratuity) on a specific date based on the number of guests who participate in the fundraiser.
With Pasta Pomodoro's "School Scrip Program," gift cards are offered at a discount to eligible nonprofit organizations, whose members then sell them at face value.
Over the years, Pasta Pomodoro has also helped sponsor many organizations committed to "making a difference" and enriching community life. Recipients include Youth Speaks, Special Olympics of Northern California, San Francisco Youth Symphony, American Canyon Little League, San Francisco AIDS Walk and The Academy of Friends.
We have pledged to organize local and regional programs to benefit nonprofit organizations whose missions are to help children and youth. For details and guidelines, group representatives may contact the general manager of your local Pasta Pomodoro restaurant.
