Doreen Le May Madden
Owner and Principal
Doreen Le May Madden has received a number of awards for Excellence in Lighting Design for her residential, restaurant, retail, and corporate interior and exterior projects around the world. Le May Madden is certified with the National Council on Qualifications for the Lighting Professions, and with the American Lighting Association, and holds a degree in Interior Design.
Doreen is a sustaining member of the IESNA and is also the past New England Section President of the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America. Her active participation and affiliations in the New England design community include IESNA, Boston Society of Architects, Designers Lighting Forum and the International Association of Lighting Designers. Publications that have presented her work and interviews include, Architectural Record Magazine, Boston Design Times, Residential Lighting, Audio/Video Interiors, Virginia Builders, and This Old House Magazine. You may have seen her on the PBS television show “This Old House†for her unique lighting design for the Watertown, MA project.
