Introduction
Long Beach Seafood Restaurant is synonymous with award winning seafood dishes and best known for putting the country on the world map for its invention of the legendary black pepper crab. Its humble beginnings took root in 1946 at Bedok Rest House along Old Bedok Road where dining was then a plain and simple affair.
Long Beach Seafood has since changed the face of seafood dining experience. Customers are now greeted by wait staff in iron-pressed uniforms and shown to VIP rooms where elaborate seafood menus are presented to them. Today Long Beach has 5 branches island-wide where customers can choose from either alfresco dining with seafront views, lush greenery or in the air-conditioned comfort of private rooms.
Its extensive range of fresh and delectable seafood dishes such as the air-flown Alaskan crab served all year round, Australian Lobster and Canadian oysters continue to enthrall locals, expatriates, international celebrities and even foreign diplomats who make Long Beach a must-visit at stopovers in Singapore.
The restaurant's long history and the number of accolades and culinary awards it has picked up along the way is testament of its ongoing legacy in serving the finest and freshest seafood ever.
