Introduction
At Kelong Restaurant you will discover the authentic cuisine representing traditional Malay, Chinese and combination of Western food in a fine dining environment. A firm favourite throughout the South Croydon neighbourhood since it was established in 1984. Mr Tom Ho, the chef and owner of Kelong Restaurant, originally came from Singapore. Mr Ho's food reflects his cultural heritage and always include the best and freshest ingredients available. the menu consists of a wide range of starters, soups, salad and specialising in seafood dishes including authentic hawker style food. Kelong stands for a 'Fish Trap' - a hut in the middle of the sea (similar to an oil rig) built with wooden poles to trap fish and seafood. The Kelong also offers a comprehensive outside catering service with menus that can be tailored to suit your budgets. Kelong can offer the whole package in catering for varied occasions such as weddings, christenings, corporate events and others, for up to 250 people.
