Introduction

KALALA opened in January 2004, since then it has been one of the highly recommended Chinese buffet restaurants in Folkestone and neighbourhood towns.

The restaurant was transformed from a National Westminster Bank building. Through the original tall glass windows is a long curvy suspended ceiling, hanged with traditional big Chinese red lanterns which marked the landscape of the dining area. It is big, bright and spacious. An ideal place for a family meal or party; friends or business gathering or special celebrations at a great price.

Myself and my family have eaten here on many many occasions, for birthdays and family celebrations. We have always been made to feel welcome, and seem to always get the same table.
As you enter you are very rarely left to wonder what do, a member of staff will ask if you have eaten there before, or if it is your first experience. They explain how the buffet works and then they'll seat you at a anywhere you like providing your early as it does get very full especially at weekends and seasonal periods.
The buffet all the times I have been has NEVER gone empty nor have I ever had to wait for Crockery or cutlery. The cuisine has always been of the highest standard of quality, We have regularly recommended Kalala to our friends and all of them have thanked us and started to use it for their celebrations we know this because we get invited.

It's a great place to eat, socialise and have fun
