Kailash Mansarovar Yatra

Known as the mother of all Teertha Sthala the holy Mount Kailash Yatra is considered to be one of the most difficult treks in Asia. We present different options for Kailash Mansarovar Yatra for you along with some useful information you may require before undertaking the journey to this holy land. The annual Kailash Mansarowar yatra, which involves circumambulation of Mount Kailash and Mansarovar lake in Tibet, will commence from June 9 this year. The decision to begin the yatra from June 9 was taken by the Ministry of External Affairs after consultations with the Chinese Government and other agencies, officials of Kumaon Mandal Vikash Nigam, the nodal agency for the yatra, said here.
There has not been any change in the route of the yatra this year and it will pass through Kathgodam, Almora, Dania, Pithoragarh, Dharchula, on motor road and Sirkha, Gala, Bundi Gumti, Kalapani, Nabhidhang and Lipulekh pass on track route.
