I am a Notary Public here in Melbourne, Australia.
I help people from all over the world certify and notarise documentation.
If you have papers that need to be sent overseas for official government or business purposes, odds are that you will need a Notary Public like myself.
Often you will also need to go to the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade for an "Apostille" or a legalisation stamp. Please visit my website for clarification on the issues at hand. My site details the ins and outs of what is required and what isn't.
A Notary Public is different from a Justice of the Peace. A Notary is a lawyer with more than 5 years of experience on top of extra educational requirements.
A JP will also certify documents but only for domestic purposes whilst a Notary Public can certify and notarise documents for overseas purposes.
I work 7 days a week and I offer after hours appointments for your convenience at two locations: Melbourne CBD & Box Hill South.
