Selling Your Art
You want to sell a painting. The first thing is to determine a reasonable price for it. This is never easy. It next requires time and effort to find a buyer. You could engage an auction house or gallery to sell it for you. They may charge you as much as 50% of the selling price, if they agree to handle it at all. They will expect you to sign an exclusive contract .
The Solution
Informus determines a reasonable price, markets it and buys your painting only after they have sold it and received payment from a buyer. You are paid your expected price when we collect the painting for delivery to that buyer. You can withdraw your painting from the Informus inventory at any time without any obligation.
A flat fee of $500 is charged for the sale of paintings of $10,000 or less and 5% of the sale price if the sale price is over $10,000.
There are no contracts to sign with Informus.
