Holistic health is the understanding that our bodies, minds and spirits are completely interconnected. With roots in traditional Eastern practices and medicine, holism views the body and mind as a metaphorical garden: organic and adaptable; intertwined and intuitive; fluid yet balanced. The key to cultivating this higher level of wellness is to create a state of mental and physical calmness, bringing harmony, balance and connection to our mind, body and spirit.

I started a more holistic lifestyle over five years ago after being diagnosed with an auto-immune disease. Over-medicated, over-caffeinated and over-stressed, I was desperate for healing – healing of my mind, healing of my body, and healing of my soul. But instead of continuing to seek help from conventional medicine, I turned to Gaia and her wealth of natural remedies. These remedies are not only in abundance, but they are incredibly powerful. With them, I was able to soothe, nourish and heal my wounds, and in doing so, became my own healer. My hope is to unravel these ancient secrets to make them more accessible to the modern woman. We all have the innate ability to heal and move forward with strength and power.
